Focusing on Recording the New Testament for the Foreseeable Future

Over the last year I have been producing a number of different types of posts for this website. These have included Bible studies, reading plans, and other types of material. Back in June I also started releasing free audio recordings of me reading the New Testament. Unfortunately, I didn’t do a good job of keeping up with that project. That changes today.

As of November 14, 2020, I am actively focusing on my readings of the New Testament for the foreseeable future. This means that I do not plan on doing many in depth blog articles until I complete this significant endeavor. Now, I do realize that the consequence of this is the severe lack of studies and other content for at least several months. It could even stretch into late 2021 or longer.

Despite that, I am confident that the need to prepare a free Audio New Testament is a good task, and something that is worth supporting with my time and effort. Even if just a few people download it, I can be grateful to God for the blessing of being able to contribute in such a way through Him. I hope that you can support me in this work with your prayers, words of encouragement, and listening to it if you are so inclined.

I currently have recordings of the shortest books of the New Testament, and also 2 Thessalonians, Titus, and 2 Peter. These are from the World English Bible (WEB), and the next release will include files for Philippians, Colossians, and 2 Timothy.

Thank you for your patience concerning this work, and I hope you will be excited when it is completed. I look forward to the day when I will be able to return to my studies of Romans and the Psalms more regularly.
